All these animations that are connected to Marko A. Kovačič’s artistic
practice, more precisely, to The Civilisation of Plastos, are characterised
by the combination of computer graphics or mechanical animation and performative
procedures: on the one side conceptual actions with noticeable real-time
production process and computer generated images with media time created
by editing on the other. Another characteristic of these video works is
the special position occupied by animals, artificial figures and worlds
and their interactions and relations.
